Sehir University Altunizade Campus
To address the visual clutter of exposed cable trays from the building's previous function, custom colorful acrylic panels were integrated along both sides of the main corridor. Reimagining the circulation space for its new purpose, this design solution concealed technical infrastructure while creating a lively, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere for students.
Lighting Design Ideas;
Adaptive Space Transformation: Light was used as a key design element to open up the subterranean space, transforming technical utility areas into an inviting, student-centered environment.
Architectural Concealment: Structural and technical clutter along the corridors was disguised behind illuminated colored plexiglass panels, converting infrastructure into a striking visual feature.
Dynamic Interior Atmosphere: The lighting scheme enhances color perception and spatial clarity, supporting both academic focus and social engagement.
